The Director of Operations for Specialty Physician Practices oversees practices for various specialties: Immunology, nephrology, infectious disease, pulmonology, sleep, oncology, neurology, genetics, rheumatology, endocrinology, and developmental pediatrics.
The Director provides operational leadership in the planning, directing and administration of the Tower Health Medical Group. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, implementation of practice and service line processes, standard operating procedures, identification of process management improvements and related efficiencies, implementation of performance improvement plans as appropriate, human resources management, quality of patient care and financial oversight for all practices reporting into the Director of Physician Practices.
This position directs administrative and clinical services to multiple practices through physician/administrator leadership with a focus on the strategic development and implementation of programs and initiatives designed to support the achievement of organizational goals and mission.

Qualifications:Schedule: Mon - Fri 8:30a - 5p. The scheduled start and end times require flexibility to meet the needs of the practice.
Experience
- Extensive practice leadership experience across multiple practices is required. Relevant specialty practice experience is preferred. Pediatric experience in relevant specialties is a major plus.
- Strong practice leadership, employee leadership, communication, and change management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and EMR. Epic experience is a plus.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred. Bachelor's Degree or combination of relevant education & experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree.
- Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.
