Night Shift Emergency Department Nurse
Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Location: On-Site

Community Hospital is seeking a dedicated Night Shift Emergency Department Nurse to provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in our Emergency Department (ED). This role is critical in ensuring the ED operates efficiently and patients receive timely assessment, treatment, and support during night hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with established standards and hospital policies.

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, including vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment.

• Administer medications and treatments safely within scope of practice.

• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.

• Respond to emergency situations with appropriate interventions.

• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Qualifications – License, Education, and Experience Required:

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.

• 1–3 years of nursing experience required.

• 1 year of Emergency Services experience preferred.

• Current BLS and ACLS certification required upon hire.

• PALS, ENPC, and TNCC certifications required within 6 months of hire.

• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.

Compensation:

• Hiring range: $37.00 – $46.25 per hour, depending on education and experience.

• Eligible for a $30,000 sign-on bonus, paid over time at key milestones.
