Receiving Clerk
REPORTS TO: Receiving Section Manager
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt, Full-Time
Location: Hamilton, MO,
Schedule: M-F 8:00am-4:30pm
JOB SUMMARY:
The receiving clerk will receive a large number of shipments on a regular basis.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Unloading shipments, ensuring contents are correct and not damaged
Verify item & quantity by packing list.
Update inventory in computer software
Sort shipments and place in the correct storage/staging space
Keep accurate records of shipments
Prepare outgoing shipments and load onto a shipping truck
Other duties as assigned with overtime required based on business demands.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience:High School diploma/GED
Knowledge of NetSuite and Deposco highly desired
Previous Receiving or Warehouse experience preferred.
Competencies (as demonstrated through experience, training, and/or testing):
Organizational skills necessary in loading and unloading shipments and storing in proper place
Computer skills
Able to follow directions and adhere to deadlines
Ability to work independently
Physical requirements
This position is primarily walking with frequent lifting up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 70 pounds with assistance.
Frequently reaching overhead, kneeling, stooping, and grasping
Repetitive motion of wrists, hands, and/or fingers while operating a keyboard.
