Job Description
As an International Corporate Accountant, you will serve as a strategic partner to finance teams across India and other global jurisdictions. In this role, you’ll provide expert guidance on accounting matters, ensure alignment with corporate policies and US GAAP, and support global teams on tax and compliance issues. You’ll be instrumental in driving innovation through automation and standardization of financial processes, leveraging tools such as Microsoft Power Platform and Oracle solutions to enhance operational efficiency and financial accuracy.
Reporting directly to the International Corporate Controller, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and external auditors, playing a key role in shaping the future of financial management across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
• Act as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor to local finance teams in India and other regions, offering expert accounting support and guidance
• Support global corporate teams on accounting and tax-related matters, ensuring consistency and compliance across jurisdictions
• Review and monitor deliverables from local finance teams to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to corporate policies, US GAAP, and internal controls
• Lead and execute month-end close and control activities, with a focus on streamlining processes using Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close solutions
• Facilitate the implementation of Oracle ERP systems for the Indian subsidiary, ensuring a smooth transition and operational readiness
• Prepare and post journal entries for consolidation processes, with a continuous focus on optimization and process improvement
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts to enhance accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external auditors to support audits and ensure compliance
• Perform additional duties as assigned
• Willingness to travel internationally as needed

Minimum Qualifications
• 4 years of related experience.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a college degree.
Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.
Preferred Qualifications
• Professional certification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent credential is highly advantageous
• Hands-on experience with multi-currency transactions, consolidation, intercompany accounting, and transfer pricing
• Familiarity with modern digital tools, including Microsoft Copilot, Power BI/Query, and Power Automate
• Experience implementing and enhancing ERP systems or workflow automation platforms to improve operational efficiency
• Multilingual capabilities are a plus and valued in a global business environment

Skills and Abilities
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving, process improvement, and digital transformation
• Proven experience in General Ledger (GL) accounting within a multinational corporate setting
• Expertise in account reconciliation and month-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Solid understanding of US GAAP and ideally IFRS, with conceptual knowledge of taxation and regulatory compliance
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and financial modeling capabilities
