Established in 2001, we serve a diverse community of over 960 students from Alamance, Caswell, Guilford, Randolph, Rockingham, Orange, and Wake counties. Position Overview

Clover Garden School is seeking a dynamic, energetic, and student-focused Middle and High School Physical Education (PE) Teacher for the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate will be committed to promoting physical health, teamwork, sportsmanship, and lifelong fitness through engaging and developmentally appropriate instruction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver effective physical education lessons for students in grades 6–12

• Promote physical activity, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles

• Organize and oversee fitness assessments and skill development activities

• Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all students

• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support school initiatives

• Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback

• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development

• Maintain equipment and inventory for PE classes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, or a related field (required)

• North Carolina teaching license or eligibility for licensure in PE (preferred)

• Experience teaching middle and/or high school students (preferred)

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• Passion for working with diverse student populations

• Ability to coach sports or assist with extracurricular athletics (a plus)
