General Description:  

Assist the principal and administrative team with all functions of supervision of the school.

Contract Length:  245 days/12 months

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Assists in supervision of students and staff
• Serves on the administrative team and attends all administrative team meetings
• Assists in providing growth producing feedback to classroom teachers
• Supervises and monitors student needs and enforces the Code of Conduct
• Supervises after-school and evening activities
• Assists administrators in the coordination of the instructional program within the school
• Works collaboratively with teachers and staff to identify student needs and to design, revise, and monitor instruction to ensure highly effective delivery of the required curriculum
• Assists with IEP and 504 meetings as needed
• Assists in developing long and short-ranged curriculum goals and objectives
• Evaluates curriculum and makes recommendations for program improvement
• Assists in interpreting and communicating the instructional program to all stakeholders
• Assists in facilitating and coordinating professional learning opportunities and mentorship of teachers and staff
• Performs related duties as required or assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Master's Degree and must have or be eligible for an endorsement in Administration and Supervision
• Must have a minimum of five years of successful full-time experience as a teacher, supervisor or administrator
• Possesses leadership qualities and personal characteristics necessary for working effectively with students, teachers and parents.

Salary credit given for teaching and/or administrative experience in a public and/or accredited private school setting.
