Hardware Engineering is a diverse, innovative, and collaborative group of electrical, mechanical, reliability, software and vehicle engineers. We design, build, and perfect the products which are the eyes and ears of Waymo's autonomous driving technology, and integrate those products into vehicle platforms. We're seeking curious and talented teammates to keep us moving in the right direction.
You will:
- Create the "to-be" technology footprint, develop a solutions roadmap, and outline a phased implementation approach to achieve strategic business objectives within Hardware Engineering.
- Set up and support 3DExperience, CATIA, and other ECAD systems.
- Support the management of engineering and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) artifacts such as CAD, specifications, parts, Bill of Materials (BOMs), changes, and deviations related to the automotive domain.
- Work on the customization and configuration of 3DExperience, CATIA, Altium, Cadence, Capital, MentorGraphics, and other boundary systems.
- Lead functional tasks and deliverables, including process definition and re-engineering, requirements gathering, functional design, testing, training, reporting, and continuous improvement of hardware engineering applications.
- Create Business Requirements Documents, Functional Specification Documents, and other technical and process-related documentation to support the design and development of business system tools.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to deliver successful products and features.
- Work with third-party software vendors and developers to deliver projects and support services
You have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience configuring, customizing, upgrading, or supporting 3DExperience/Enovia, including CAD management, and Part/BOM/Change Management processes.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with a proven track record of implementing impactful cross-functional programs.
We prefer:
3D Experience certifications.
Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)-ECAD integrations.

The expected base salary range for this full-time position is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level. Waymo employees are also eligible to participate in Waymo’s discretionary annual bonus program, equity incentive plan, and generous Company benefits program, subject to eligibility requirements.
