Join a fast-moving engineering team delivering next-generation legged robotic solutions to customers worldwide. As a DevOps Engineer, you will enable and support software delivery for Ghost Robotics’ quadruped robotics platform and its expanding set of payloads.


You will manage DevOps workflows across multiple teams and repositories, ensuring consistent build, test, and deployment processes for both the base platform and payload software. Working closely with engineering teams, you will maintain high standards for reliability, scalability, and security across our systems. Our environment includes GitLab, NVIDIA-based systems, Unix-based systems, AWS, and related technologies.

Requirements

  • Design, maintain, and optimize GitLab CI/CD pipelines for multiple repositories spanning platform and payload projects.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to align build, test, and release workflows.
  • Support NVIDIA-based systems, including Jetson platforms and GPU-enabled workloads.
  • Manage AWS resources for build infrastructure, artifact storage, and deployment targets.
  • Implement and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting systems for development and production environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve build, deployment, and runtime issues across hardware and software environments.
  • Maintain shared documentation, templates, and automation to drive consistency across teams and products.

Required Experience

  • 5+ years in a DevOps or similar engineering role supporting complex systems.
  • Hands-on experience managing GitLab CI/CD pipelines in multi-repo environments.
  • Proficiency with Git and version control best practices.
  • Familiarity with NVIDIA Jetson and GPU-enabled software pipelines.
  • Strong Unix/Linux administration skills.
  • Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, etc.).
  • Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Bash, Python, or Go).
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and security best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to collaborate across internal and external stakeholders.

Nice To Have Experience

  • Docker-based workflows and container orchestration experience.
  • Robotics software frameworks such as ROS 2.
  • ARM and cross-compilation build environments.
  • Artifact storage and distribution systems (e.g., AWS MRAP, S3).
  • Deploying software to embedded or edge computing platforms.

Minimum Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field required.


Location

Philadelphia, PA (no remote candidates considered at this time).  


Travel

Travel not required.
