Description

 

The Head of Sales will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s revenue growth by developing and executing comprehensive go-to-market strategies, fostering strong customer relationships, and optimizing the overall sales and revenue operations. This leader will provide strategic direction and operational support for Altvia’s entire Sales and Post Sales functions. As the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive revenue strategy across all customer segments, leading and inspiring your teams to best in class levels of performance and execution. 


What You’ll Do

  • Revenue Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive and cohesive revenue strategy that aligns with the company's overall objectives, ensuring consistent growth across multiple revenue streams. Identify and implement revenue optimization initiatives, including pricing strategies, packaging offerings, and strategic partnerships to enhance overall revenue streams.  
  • Sales Leadership: Establish a winning culture of personal and team accountability in a high-achievement environment while maintaining and modelling Altvia’s cultural norms of respect and low-ego collaboration. Partner with the HR team to recruit, onboard, develop, and retain high performing and committed leaders and ICs across Sales and GTM Operations.  
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and market expansion initiatives. Collaborate with key stakeholders to assess and capitalize on emerging market trends. 
  • Financial Management: Collaborate with finance and executive leadership to establish and manage revenue-related budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and ROI. Monitor key financial metrics and implement corrective actions as needed. Provide regular read-out to the ELT on metrics and models.  
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other executive team members, including product development and finance, to ensure alignment and integration of revenue initiatives. • Performance Metrics: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales and revenue teams, regularly assessing progress against targets and making necessary adjustments.  
  • Market Insights: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform strategic decisions and maintain a competitive edge. 
  • Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with revenue generation, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards. 
  • Executive Leadership: Act as a key member of the executive leadership team, contributing to overall company strategy, culture, and growth initiatives.  
Requirements

 

  • Proven experience as a senior revenue leadership role, with demonstrated success in developing and executing revenue strategies that resulted in significant business growth at a global capacity.  
  • Comfortable operating at the Board level while also being able to roll up your sleeves.  
  • A customer champion who can earn the trust of his/her customers and represent their needs to the organization. 
  • Strong understanding of sales, marketing and customer success functions, and how they work together to drive revenue growth. 
  • Ability to hire, develop, and retain A+ talent. You have a track record of coaching and developing your teams through strong performance and promotions.   
  • A history of leading from the front, you spend time in market with your team, as well as with customers. 
  • Data driven with experience structuring, tracking, and improving KPIs and metrics. 
  • Strong leadership and communication skills; can motivate, inspire, create a sense of urgency and mentor.  
  • Executive-level gravitas; a strategic thinker with the ability to drive innovation and change.  
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision-making.  
  • Strong values-driven collaborator across the business.  
  • Strong proficiency working with GTM tools and systems (i.e. CRM, Marketing Automation, etc.). 

Education

Bachelor’s degree required.

Salary Description
200,000 + commission
