Pawnee Mental Health Services is a private, not-for-profit community mental health center dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health services to strengthen the wellness of our communities. Operating over 10 counties in North-Central Kansas, we provide a full range of psychotherapy, crisis, medication management, and substance abuse recovery services to over 7000 adults, adolescents, and children every year. The Role You Play
As a vital part of Pawnee’s medical services team, you’ll provide essential clinical and administrative support that helps clients get the care they need. This is a fast-paced, flexible role that makes a real difference in the lives of the people we serve.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting nursing and medical staff with clinical and clerical tasks
- Assisting clients with medication refills, prior authorizations, and patient assistance programs
- Coordinating care with pharmacies, primary care providers, and other health agencies
- Helping manage and document medication samples under supervision
- Supporting psychiatric services via televideo, including taking vitals and assisting communication
- Assisting with treatment plan reviews and closing charts in our electronic health record
You’ll be part of a collaborative team, helping to ensure smooth, compassionate, and effective care for every client.
Who You Are
The ideal candidate is reliable and trustworthy, (you will be expected to set and keep your own schedule!), and has experience/a passion for working with children. They are also flexible and creative, as we give CSPs the freedom to plan out activities themselves. Finally, you will be working with high-needs children, so a proven ability to manage high-stress situations eloquently, tactfully, and professionally is required.

Requirements
Qualifications:
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in the State of Kansas.
- Strong oral and written communication skills using the English language.
- Basic personal computer skills.
- Strong ability to work as a team.
Preferred:
- Experience in a clinical setting.
- Behavioral or mental health experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office software.
All employees will be required to submit to and pass a background check and drug screening.
