About the Role:
As a Principal Software Engineer at Wellfit, you will spearhead the development and integration of our cutting-edge payment systems and APIs. This role is pivotal in driving the technical direction and integration of third-party APIs, ensuring seamless functionality across various platforms and leading the design and implementation of robust solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and integration of unified APIs with major players like Sika and Next Health.
• Evaluate API documentation and third-party systems to ensure compatibility and functionality with our platforms.
• Design and maintain sandboxes and test environments, collaborating closely with DevOps to minimize setup times and streamline processes.
• Develop full-stack web applications and services using ASP.NET, .NET Framework 2.0, C#, and SQL.
• Implement best practices in software development, including TDD, BDD, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Work autonomously to research, prototype, and test new technologies and frameworks that can enhance system performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define specifications, and deliver high-quality software solutions that align with business goals.

Qualifications:
• BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Full Stack Development, including significant experience with ASP.NET, .NET Framework, C#, and SQL.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, software design, and debugging.
• Extensive experience with Cloud APIs, Web Services, and source control tools, particularly GIT.
• Demonstrated expertise in cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and implementing services across multiple cloud environments.
• Experience with Microservices architecture, DevOps practices, and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.
• Excellent leadership skills with experience guiding and mentoring engineering teams.
• Familiarity with Domain Driven Design and Framework Development.
