Job Overview

L&H Companies is experiencing growth and is seeking a full-time Accounting Specialist to join our team. 

Primary duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • On-site, full time role in Reading, PA
  • Enter A/P vouchers
  • Process A/P payments via vendor websites, billing portals and checks
  • Work with sub-contractors and project management personnel to review and process charges
  • Complete Payables process
  • Monitor and respond to Accounts Payable mailbox
  • Reconcile monthly Credit Card Statements
  • Set up new vendors
  • Reconcile weekly timecards
  • Process bi-weekly payroll
  • Create 1099 Forms for new vendors and transmit payment
  • File insurance claims
  • Assist in completion of Census Surveys
  • Perform notarial duties when requested
  • Oversee fleet maintenance, driver logs and IFTA reporting
  • Other duties as required


Requirements

  • Experience in a high-volume A/P role
  • Basic to intermediate experience in Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Teams
  • Possess a current Notary Commission or willingness to obtain one within 2 months
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Bilingual in English / Spanish is a plus
