About the role:

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Personal Assistant to join our Real Estate Group in our Housing, Development and Regeneration (HDR) in Birmingham as a Senior Personal Assistant on a 12-month fixed term contract.

You will be responsible for supporting our lawyers with the day-to-day administration, client management and financial responsibilities.

As a vital support in client relationship management, you’ll oversee a range of administrative duties—from coordinating meetings and events to managing diaries, travel, and documentation. You’ll facilitate clear communication across teams, assist fee earners with billing and marketing tasks, and uphold high service standards. With a proactive and organised mindset, you’ll help ensure operational efficiency, contribute to team growth, and enhance the overall client experience.

About you:

We’re seeking a proactive and reliable professional with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and research tools, alongside excellent communication and organisational skills. A confident telephone manner is essential, as is the ability to manage routine client enquiries, prioritise tasks under pressure, and take initiative when needed. Key attributes include attention to detail, adaptability, and a positive, team-oriented approach. Previous experience in a similar role—ideally within a legal environment—is preferred.

What We Can Offer You:

The opportunity to work for a firm which has been recognised as one of the best places to work in the UK and has been ranked by Great Place to Work® for 25 consecutive years.

Excellent benefits, including:

  • A hybrid approach to office and remote working.
  • 25 days annual leave, with the option to buy up to a week's extra annual leave
  • Free private medical insurance, and the option to add family members
  • A generous pension allowance
  • Life assurance covering four times your annual salary
  • The chance of a three-month sabbatical every five years
  • Maternity, paternity and adoption leave schemes
  • A range of health and wellbeing programmes
  • State of the art offices in Birmingham, with an onsite restaurant
  • Opportunities to flourish in your role through training and personal development
