Your Role
The purpose of the role is to support underwriters in delivering our business strategy, assessing risk appetite, complying with regulatory requirements, servicing product offerings while working within designated authority level. In addition, your key responsibilities will be:
• Assist the underwriting teams with administration tasks such as processing, solving accounts queries and claims reporting
• Entry level underwriting
• Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
This is a permanent, full-time role which will be based at one of our IAG Offices (Naarm) Melbourne or (Gadigal Country) Sydney are preferred.
About You
You will have be naturally proactive, adaptable and have excellent time management skills. You will also have:
• Experience within the insurance industry is preferred
• Professional Risk or Liability Product exposure
• Strong computer skills – Microsoft Suite
• Relevant tertiary industry qualification or working towards one
• Experience working with stakeholders and have excellent written and verbal communication skills
