Your Role
As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will deploy and monitor ML models on Google Cloud Platform, ensuring they meet performance, accuracy, and compliance standards. You’ll support testing, maintain detailed deployment documentation, and act as a bridge between data science, engineering, and data teams to ensure smooth collaboration.
Additionally, you'll help uphold governance requirements and continuously improve deployment processes.
This is a permanent role with exciting opportunities for growth and learning, open to candidates based in Gadigal Country (Sydney), Naarm (Melbourne)
About You
- Experience in ML or another related field.
- Hands-on experience deploying ML models in production on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Extensive knowledge in data security, governance, and compliance standards for ML deployments.
- Experience with using Google Cloud tools, building docker images and programming in Python
- Strong documentation skills, with experience in creating, maintaining, and disseminating ML best practices across teams.
- Expertise in implementing and using tools to monitor and evaluate the performance, reliability, and scalability of ML models.
- Experience working cross-functionally, particularly between machine learning, data science, and data engineering teams.
- Ability to work with data scientists to deploy, maintain, and optimize machine learning models in accordance with architectural guidelines.
- Exposure to CI/CD tools (eg. GitHub Actions) and API design are advantageous
