Clinical Team Lead – Acute services 

  • Salary Range: $33.34 - $40.01 per hour, based on relevant years of experience
  • Location: Fort Collins, Colorado
  • Status: Full time, 40 hours per week
  • Hours: Wednesday-Saturday 7AM-5:30PM

 

Employees working at locations operating 24/7 earn a differential.  Shift differentials are also available for evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.   

 

Role Overview: 

 

Responsible for providing crisis intervention services for clients at the 24-hour Longview acute care facility. Participate as a lead member of the service delivery team to provide walk in, mobile response, phone evaluations, and clinical residential services for individuals in crisis. Coordinate behavioral health intervention plans and services with other agencies. Collaborate with other staff in planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating clinical services, including ongoing coordination with program supervisors and managers. Crisis services staff work with and advocate for diverse and often marginalized populations daily to provide interventions, support, and resources, and to ensure that the appropriate services are offered in an inclusive and equitable manner. 

 

Essential Duties:  

  • Conduct client crisis interventions, effective de-escalation, and risk assessments. Serve as a point person in identifying clinical care concerns and ethical conflicts, assist with providing guidance to staff to resolve concerns and problems.
  • Provide leadership, promote team engagement, and create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
  • Provide clinical supervision to other clinicians and/or interns (if qualified to do so based on licensure).
  • Work collaboratively with facility leadership team to improve quality of care and continuous process improvement projects.
  • Discover training needs and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to staff members.
  • Maintain close and cooperative relationships with community agencies and other public agencies in carrying out treatment/service plans.
  • Respond and intervene in emergency codes called.

 Required: 

  • Master's degree in a behavioral health services field or years of equivalent required
  • More than three (3) years of behavioral health experience in the behavioral health field required with extensive experience with crisis interventions, effective de-escalation techniques, and risk assessments

 

Licenses and Certifications: 

  • Current professional license in appropriate discipline required (LCSW, LPC, LAC or LMFT)
  • Valid Colorado driver’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record required
  • CPR and First Aid certifications required

 

Highly Desired: 

  • Bilingual/bi-cultural preferred

 

Longview Campus is the new Acute Care Behavioral Health facility which serves Larimer County residents in need of urgent help with mental health and/or substance use disorders.
