Timpte is looking for a Material Handler in our David City, NE Manufacturing Facility. In the Material Handler role, you will manually move freight, stock or other materials and perform other general labor. Forklift experience preferred!
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas.
- Ensure material is marked and identified in storage and production locations.
- Follow all processes associated with the Kanban system.
- Read work orders and receive verbal instructions to determine work assignments, material or equipment needs.
- Deliver/Stock material into their static locations.
- Assemble product containers or crates, using hand tools.
Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications:
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
- Must be able to read and follow directions to complete work and meet deadlines.
- Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Must have an insurable driving record.
- Must be able to become forklift certified.
