Job Summary:

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for all account management, new business development and marketing activities within the Gulf Coast region of the US. Primary responsibilities include the sale of equipment and services to the industries listed in company overview. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment and must maintain a high level of accuracy with a positive attitude.  The company will expect the candidate to rapidly get up to speed on strategic accounts, industries and a mid-term plan to expand and build an outside sales team.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow Key accounts for multiple industries in the Gulf Coast area
  • Outbound Prospecting to gain new customer base
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism with all prospects and clients
  • Display proper knowledge of TransTech Groups’ products and services
  • Work with multiple divisions’ Sales and Engineering team to develop accurate quotes and provide timely follow up
  • Participate in trade shows and industry association events
  • Proficient use in SalesForce CR (lead development, pipeline management, etc.)
  • Perform various tasks as needed

Competencies:

  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience in business development (6 – 10 preferred) in Vessel/ Tank and Heat Exchanger Sales in one of the following industries:  Oil & Gas, Refining, Petrochemical, Industrial manufacturing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Keen attention to details with the ability to spot errors
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work with varying seniority levels, including staff, managers and external partners
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Knowledgeable of the Chemical and Industrial Markets in the Gulf Coast and the customer base in which will be contacted

Education:

  • BS/BA preferably in a discipline of Engineering, Business, Marketing or Communications

Travel:

  • Able and willing to travel as necessary
