Analysis is accompanied by a recommendation to the appropriate level of credit authority.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EResponsibilities:%3C/p%3E%3Cul%3E%3Cli%3EPrepare, analyze and submit new credit requests, as well as file reviews, to the Dealer Credit Manager providing sound and reasoned explanations. (25%)%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EPerform monthly reviews of dealership financial statements and make sound and reasoned recommendations to the Dealer Credit Manager based on guidelines established by Mercedes Benz and previous experience with the dealership. (25%)%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EMake recommendations regarding subordination, guarantees, state legal requirements, UCC%27s and other forms or agreements which protect the interests of Mercedes Benz Financial Services. (10%)%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EPrepare and maintain dealer document files in accordance with established procedure. (10%)%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EProvide daily service to DRM%27s/RFM%27s, Region Managers, dealer personnel, and management regarding credit files, system issues, approvals/contingencies, documentation and financial statements. (10%)%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EReview wholesale inventory and book audits and make recommendations to the Dealer Credit Manager on audit issues and exceptions. (10%)%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ECommunicate with Dealer personnel during all stages of the credit request and maintenance process including monthly financial statement reviews (10%)%3C/li%3E%3C/ul%3E

Qualifications:

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. at the time of application. 

This position requires a minimum of 3 years of overall work experience. Preferred experience includes:

• Accounting - 1 year of experience
• Business (General) - 3 years of experience
• Credit - 3 years of experience

• Finance - 1 year of experience

   

• Risk Management 

   

Education:
High School Diploma/(GED) is required, Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Recommended majors include:

• Accounting
• Business Administration
• Finance
• Mathematics
• Statistics

Additional Knowledge:

• 3-5 years prior credit experience in a lending environment preferred
• Experience in Wholesale Audit preferred
• Candidate should have a fundamental accounting and finance knowledge
