A day in the life:
The Director of Benefits, Global at Monster Energy is an energizing force, expertly blending strategic vision with hands-on expertise! This role is all about turbocharging our senior management and team members with top-notch advice on Benefits, Leave of Absence, and Worker’s Compensation. As a key player, you'll rev up our business goals by orchestrating essential HR functions, from crafting epic benefits plans to spearheading HRIS implementation and assessments. You'll also manage leaves and workers' comp with flair, drive dynamic projects, and develop policies that rock the global HR scene. Get ready to ignite the HR world with your Monster-sized impact!
The impact you'll make:
- Global Benefits – Evaluate, design and implement global benefits programs in collaboration with the HR senior management. Develop a total rewards philosophy, review benefits plans/programs and recommend changes to ensure a competitive market position and other goals as identified by the Company.
- HRIS – Manage a Human Resources Information System (HRIS) ongoing maintenance and implement changes that meet the Company’s human capital management needs and compliance efforts. Prepare and analyze HR metrics to identify issues, trends, action plans and opportunities for improving HR and Company practices.
- Leaves and Workers Compensation Management – Manage the leave of absence process for all states in accordance with federal and state laws, and coordinate with workers compensation carrier on claims.
- Project Management – Manager HR projects and initiatives as identified by VP, Human Resources and senior management, and based on analysis of HR metrics. Collaborate with HR/payroll team, departments/divisions and vendors as needed in project rollouts.
- Policies and Procedures – Assess, design and implement HR programs and policies in the areas of compensation, benefits, employee relations, training and development in collaboration with the Vice President of Human Resources.
- Compliance – Conduct annual audits and compliance reporting for workers compensation and OSHA logs, 401(k) audits, 5500 filings, EEO-1 reporting, VETS 4212, etc.
- Staff Management – Mentor, supervise and/or lead other Benefits members.
- Best Practices and Continuous Learning - Keep abreast of HR trends, industry news and economic trends as they impact the Company and HR function.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; advanced degree a plus
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive Benefits experience
- Minimum of 5 years of Benefits and HRIS experience
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience
- Self-starter with ability to work independently and with complete discretion
- Must be organized, able to multitask and manage competing priorities while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor with all levels of the organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- An enthusiastic and collaborative team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment
- Demonstrated ability to effectively integrate HR programs, policies, procedures and initiatives into an employer’s bottom line business and profit objectives.
- Strong internal customer focus, along with a desire to learn all aspects of the business
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Visio, etc.)
Monster Energy provides a competitive total compensation. This position has an estimated annual salary of $150,000 - $200,000. The actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
