The work:
Performs analysis of documented user requirements and directs or assists in the design of test plans in support of user requirements for moderately complex to complex software or IT systems. May participate in all phases of risk management assessment and software/hardware development. Act as an enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile Methodology. Is also a custodian for the Agile process and ensures all processes are used as intended. Protects the team, removes barriers to successful implementation, and keeps them focused on the task at hand. Helps the Product Owner/Scrum Master maximize productivity. Maintain the backlog and release plans. Proactively seeks opportunities to implement improvements to internal team processes. Candidates with previous experience on Agile teams, especially within Government agencies, will be well suited for this position. Perform as liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, gathering business requirements accurately so that functional specifications are captured, understood, and translated into development activities. Proactively seeks opportunities to implement improvements to internal team processes. Demonstrated experience with Agile development methodologies and processes on actual project/program engagements required. Agile Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) experience required. Works with their team(s) to meet established Sprint and Release goals.
Here’s what you need:
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn new technologies
- 1+ years experience as a business analyst
- Proactively seeks opportunities to implement improvements to internal team processes
- Contributes to an atmosphere of cross-functional teamwork within the organizations Agile project life cycle
- 1-2 years exposure to data migration activities and exposure to integrations
- 1-2 years exposure to leading/mentoring junior team members
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience setting up and configuring ALM tools (e.g. Atlassian Jira, Azure DevOps, etc)
- Active SAFe certifications
- ICAgile coaching certifications
- Kanban University certification

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
