About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Director of Distribution Operations to lead our 1M+ square foot, highly automated distribution center. As a fast-growing apparel and footwear brand, we need a proven leader who can deliver exceptional results while fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and accountability. This role requires balancing operational excellence with a leadership style that motivates and engages associates at every level.
You’ll Make a Difference By
- Operational Leadership: Overseeing all aspects of DC operations—including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, outbound shipping, and returns—ensuring on-time, accurate, and cost-efficient performance.
- Automation & Technology: Driving optimization of advanced automation systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), unit sorter, and material handling technologies to maximize throughput and accuracy.
- Strategic Planning: Developing and executing distribution strategies that support rapid growth, scalability, and evolving customer expectations.
- People Leadership: Leading a large, diverse workforce of associates, managers, and directors. Building strong communication channels across all levels, from frontline associates to executive leadership.
- Culture & Engagement: Promoting a culture where results matter—but how they are achieved matters equally. Prioritizing safety, collaboration, respect, and continuous improvement.
- Performance Management: Establishing and monitoring KPIs for productivity, cost, quality, and service. Implement corrective actions where needed and celebrate team achievements.

About You
- 15+ years of experience in distribution/fulfillment, with at least 8 years in senior leadership roles overseeing high-volume, large-scale omni-channel DCs (750k+ sq. ft.).
- Strong understanding of the unique distribution challenges in apparel and footwear (e.g., seasonality, SKU complexity, returns).
- Hands-on experience managing highly automated facilities and implementing warehouse technology solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and lead large teams, fostering engagement and accountability across all levels.
- Exceptional communicator who can adapt messaging for frontline associates, peers, and executive leadership.
- Track record of achieving operational, financial, and service goals while maintaining a positive workplace culture.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
