We are seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our team in North Olmsted!

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities, including floors, carpets, and other surfaces. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a team to maintain a safe and healthy environment for our employees and customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in floor care and maintenance, as well as a strong work ethic and commitment to quality.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in floor care and maintenance
  • Ability to operate and maintain floor care equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a commercial or industrial setting
  • Certification in floor care and maintenance
  • Experience with painting and light repairs

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of floors, carpets, and other surfaces
  • Operate and maintain floor care equipment, including buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums
  • Assist with general maintenance tasks, such as painting and light repairs
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations

Skills:

As a Maintenance Assistant/Floor Tech, you will use your skills in floor care and maintenance to ensure the cleanliness and safety of our facilities. You will operate and maintain floor care equipment, maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and ensure compliance with safety and health regulations. Additionally, you will use your attention to detail and commitment to quality to perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks, as well as assist with general maintenance tasks such as painting and light repairs. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be essential to your success in this role.
