Senior Human Resources Manager

Location: King of Prussia, PA (Hybrid flexibility available)
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Human Resources (HR) Manager to serve as the primary HR leader for a professional services organization of 75+ employees. This individual will oversee all day-to-day HR operations, guiding the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding, while driving compliance, engagement, and organizational growth.

This is a high-impact role for an experienced HR professional who thrives in both strategic planning and hands-on execution. The Senior HR Manager will also supervise and develop an HR Generalist, ensuring smooth HR operations across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, investigations, and disciplinary issues.

  • Oversee implementation and enforcement of HR policies and ensure compliance with employment law.

  • Manage and enhance performance management processes; coach managers on feedback and performance improvement.

  • Oversee benefits administration in collaboration with external partners.

  • Maintain proficiency in payroll/HRIS systems; oversee HR Generalist handling payroll processes.

  • Lead HR vendor management and ensure strong service delivery.

  • Drive employee engagement and recognition programs to foster culture and retention.

  • Guide organizational change management and support leadership through transitions.

  • Identify and coordinate manager training and, as needed, deliver training programs.

  • Partner with leadership on long-term strategic HR initiatives.

Qualifications

  • HR certification (SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR) required.

  • Progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

  • Experience serving as the primary HR resource for an organization of 75+ employees.

  • Professional services or legal industry background preferred.

  • Strong vendor management experience.

Skills & Competencies

  • Expertise in vendor management, employee relations, and policy administration.

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership presence; ability to build credibility at all levels.

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR technology systems.

  • Excellent written/verbal communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • High discretion, confidentiality, and professional integrity.

  • Proven ability to lead change management and foster collaboration.
