Requirements

This internship offers hands-on experience in risk management. This is a paid internship opportunity. We will provide any necessary documentation to support academic credit, if applicable. You will work an average of 25 hours per week with flexible hours to accommodate your school schedule. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct IT Audits: Assist in evaluating IT systems, applications, and processes to ensure they comply with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Risk Assessment: Help identify and assess IT-related risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Support the monitoring of IT compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze IT data and prepare reports to support audit findings and risk assessments.
  • Documentation: Assist in documenting audit procedures, findings, and recommendations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with IT and audit professionals to gain insights and practical knowledge in IT risk management and compliance.
  • Process Improvement: Participate in identifying opportunities for improving IT processes and controls.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited university, pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field as a Sophomore or Junior. 
  • 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Prior accounting internship experience preferred
  • Must exercise complete confidentiality
  • Adept at meeting deadlines
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Detail focused and driven to achieve high standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work additional and non-traditional hours as required to meet client requirements
  • Experience working in a bank is preferred
