Territory Manager – COS

Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic seller to drive long-term growth across a portfolio of HVAC dealer accounts. It is ideal for a sales professional who excels at both relationship management and identifying potential customers. You will be responsible for optimizing profitability within your territory, expanding our customer base, and forming strategic partnerships that position Johnstone as the preferred HVAC solutions provider for residential and light commercial HVAC dealers in Houston market.
A day in the life:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive territory business plan that aligns with company growth objectives.
- Manage and grow sales within an assigned geographic territory, consistently achieving and exceeding revenue and profitability targets
- Maintain and deepen relationships with new and existing contractors through consultative selling.
- Identify, develop and execute strategies to penetrate new accounts and increase share-of-wallet with existing customers.
- Prepare and present regular reports on territory performance, business development initiatives, and growth forecasts to management.
- Drive effective solutions for assigned accounts by collaborating closely with internal partners, ensuring exceptional service and seamless client experiences.
- Collaborate with supplier partners and internal teams to provide ongoing education and support to customers, ensuring they fully leverage our products and services.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in sales, business development, or account management
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license, and maintain a professional personal appearance
- Proven track record of successfully acquiring new business and achieving sales targets
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, sales analytics tools and CRM platforms
- Willingness to travel locally 70%+ to meet with prospective clients and customers and attend industry events as needed
- Bi-lingual (Spanish/English), a plus
- HVAC experience preferred; NOT required
