IPS - RMB Products is seeking a Chemical ASME Product Engineer to lead the design and support of manufacturing for corrosion protection products, pressure vessels, and associated manufacturing tooling. This role involves creating detailed CAD drawings using SolidWorks, applying sound mechanical and tool design principles to ensure high-quality, efficient production.

Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and accurate technical support to Sales by preparing detailed quotations for corrosion protection projects, including labor/material cost estimates and tooling/design schedules.
- Own and resolve engineering and tooling-related issues that arise during Production Lining and Fabrication processes.
- Maintain effective communication and coordination across all departments—Operations, Quality Control, Purchasing, Sales—and with customers to ensure project alignment and success.
- Guarantee that all engineering documents and project records are accurate, complete, and compliant with internal standards.
- Apply ASME BPVC Section VIII standards to all applicable designs and calculations, ensuring compliance and safety.
- Utilize pressure vessel design software (e.g., Compress) to perform ASME code calculations, as required.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within scope through effective time and resource planning.
- Make informed material selections (e.g., carbon steel, stainless steel, plastics) to support design and manufacturing requirements.
Job Specifications:
Years Experience: 5-7 years experience in related field
Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of SolidWorks CAD software is required
- Excellent technical skills
- Ability to work closely with other departments
- Ability to communicate effectively with customer technical experts and sales personnel to maintain customer satisfaction
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
