Job Description:

Summary/Objective

The EDI / Integrations Project Analyst manages the business-side coordination of client and TPA onboarding, ongoing partner relationships, and EDI-related projects supporting DCS’s 340B/PHS programs. This role serves as the connective tissue between clients, TPAs, and internal teams. This role is responsible for driving timelines, clarifying requirements, coordinating testing, and ensuring a smooth go-live and steady-state. It is not a sales role and does not configure EDI connections on the backend; instead, it orchestrates the work across stakeholders, validates the setups/data transfers, and holds teams accountable for outcomes.

Partner & Client Coordination

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for TPAs, covered entities, and pharmacies for EDI-related initiatives.
  • Lead onboarding kickoffs and requirement-gathering sessions; translate business needs into clear, actionable tickets for IT/EDI teams.
  • Maintain partner profiles (contacts, file schedules, environments), communication plans, and meeting cadences.

Project Management

  • Build and manage project plans, milestones, and RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies).
  • Facilitate weekly status meetings; publish agendas, notes, and decision logs; escalate blockers with clear options and impacts.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT): define acceptance criteria, organize test data/timeframes with partners, track defects to closure.
  • Own go-live readiness (checklists, cutover plans, stakeholder signoffs) and post-implementation reviews.

Operational Stewardship

  • Monitor partner SLAs and service tickets; ensure timely triage, prioritization, and communication between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Track exceptions (missing files, late schedules, failed acknowledgments) at the process level and drive corrective actions with owners.
  • Maintain playbooks, runbooks, and FAQs for common partner scenarios; keep documentation current in Confluence or similar.

Data Quality & Compliance (Business Oversight)

  • Coordinate periodic reconciliations of eligibility, accumulations, and replenishment reports with TPAs and internal operations.
  • Ensure business processes align with 340B/DSCSA program expectations; route technical questions to SMEs and confirm resolution with partners.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with IT team who perform configurations and mapping; provide clear requirements, priorities, and timelines.
  • Uses Microsoft D365 with finance team to prepare data for customers and TPAs, which includes exporting the customer price groups to gather DCS account numbers.
  • Collaborate with EDI Team/Operations on enhancement backlogs; contribute business cases and impact assessments.
  • Prepare executive-ready summaries on status, risks, and outcomes.

Success Metrics

  • Onboarding cycle time (kickoff ? go-live)
  • SLA adherence and ticket resolution timeliness
  • UAT pass rates and defect turnaround time
  • Partner satisfaction (post-implementation surveys)
  • Reduction in recurring exceptions/incidents

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no direct reports.

Work Environment

Home-based professional environment using standard office equipment (computer, phone, printer/copier, etc.).

Physical Demands

Regularly required to talk and hear; frequently required to stand, walk, use hands, and reach with arms. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

Full-time, Monday–Friday during standard business hours. Cutovers or incident response may occasionally require after-hours or weekend work.

Travel

Periodic travel for onsite partner sessions or implementations; includes local day travel and occasional overnight trips.

Requirements

Requirements

Required Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Health Administration, or equivalent experience.

3–5 years in project coordination/implementation or account management within healthcare, pharmacy, wholesaler, TPA, or data-integration environments.

Demonstrated experience running cross-functional and driving stakeholder alignment.

Strong written/verbal communication; comfortable leading meetings and producing clear documentation.

Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through under deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with 340B programs and common TPAs (e.g., Macro Helix, Sentry, Verity, RxStrategies, Wellpartner, Walgreens).

Understanding of EDI concepts and common healthcare/data transaction types (e.g., X12, flat files) sufficient to manage projects and communicate with technical teams.

Familiarity with DCS systems and processes
