This position can be located nearby any of our US sites including: Saline, MI, Salem, NH, Medford, OR, San Jose, CA and/or Brea, CA. Pay from 80,000 annually. 

Account Manager Summary

As an Account Manager, you'll support strategic account planning, customer engagement, and internal coordination to ensure seamless execution. 

Customer & Program Coordination

  • Support the execution of account plans and customer initiatives under the guidance of a Strategic Account Manager.
  • Coordinate internally across departments to ensure on-time delivery of commitments and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in customer calls and meetings; capture key takeaways, draft follow-up actions, and track progress.
  • Assist in preparing for business reviews, site visits, and key customer engagements.

Coordination Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze customer backlog, open quotes, inventory aging, and account receivable to support decision-making. 
  • Compare quotes 

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze customer backlog, open quotes, inventory aging, and accounts receivable to support decision-making.
  • Compare quoted vs. actual Value-Added Margin (VAM) and Gross Margin (GM); summarize variances and highlight risks.
  • Maintain centralized tracking of quote opportunities across sites and manage updates to the sales funnel.

Administrative & Account Support

  • Draft customer-facing communications, reports, and updates to strengthen client relationships.
  • Research and document customer contact profiles and key business developments to support outreach.
  • Monitor tariff changes, pricing fluctuations, and other relevant cost impacts.

Customer Engagement 

  • Participate in customer meetings and onsite visits.
  • Assist in identifying growth opportunities, customer pain points, and areas for operational improvement.
  • With mentorship, take ownership of small customer projects or targeted initiatives.

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 5+ years in project coordination, program management, business analytics, or customer support (preferably in a related industry).
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Portus, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, ERP systems, or quoting platforms is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%.
