- Supports campus leaders and teachers in planning, internalizing, and delivering standards-based lessons aligned to district adopted high-quality instructional materials (HQIM).

- Builds capacity of campus administrators, demonstration teachers, and classroom teachers across the district.
- Develops and maintains district-level curriculum, instructional planning calendars, and the instructional framework using district-adopted high-quality instructional materials.
- Provides leadership in the identification, evaluation, adoption, and integration of effective educational resources into the curriculum.
- Contributes to the development of district wide professional learning plans based on data trends and district initiatives.
- Creates and delivers professional learning based on identified instructional needs.
- Participates in train-the-trainer programs and delivers campus and district professional development to support high-quality Mathematics instruction.
- Designs, delivers, and supports presentations for professional learning offerings as determined by instructional needs.

- Education:

- Certification/License: Valid Texas Teaching Certification in subject and/or level of assignment.
- Experience:
- 3 years teaching experience in Mathematics with a track record of significantly increasing student achievement required.
- Experience with a diverse student population, especially in a large multicultural urban district preferred.
- Experience facilitating or presenting professional learning required.
- Experience as an instructional coach, department head, team lead, grade level-lead, lead content teacher, or teacher leader with a track record of significantly increasing student achievement preferred.

Position Purpose
Supports campuses, teachers, principals, and district staff in implementing a rigorous mathematics program for all learners across K - 12 programs. Supports implementation of High-Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM), instructional framework, instructional planning calendars, assessments, and professional learning in Mathematics. Coordinates delivery of ongoing instructional support through professional learning, coaching, and in classroom support with curriculum, instruction, assessment, and student-centered, equity-driven instructional practices.
