Harmonic Inc. in San Jose, CA seeks multiple Strategic Account Sales Leads.
 
Responsibilities: The Strategic Accounts Sales Lead is responsible for selling complex technical products and services, developing and maintaining relationships with senior level executives, and demonstrating the functions of our solutions. Duties include: maximizing revenue and customer satisfaction for target accounts and markets within the assigned region; actively pursuing new customers and business opportunities; growing long-term successful sales relationships with customers in the assigned region; understanding, articulating, and documenting the business and technical needs of customers in order to propose the appropriate Harmonic solutions; developing and implementing sales opportunity plans in support of company goals and quota objectives; effectively engaging sales resources to successfully close business by developing customer-centric solutions based on the specific needs of the customer; communicating product requirements from the field back into product management and engineering; responding to RFI/RFPs, create proposals, develop ROI and TCO analysis; building and maintaining knowledge base of company’s products, solutions, and services as required to adequately support the assigned market sectors; developing market leadership in the assigned accounts; meeting or exceeding sales quota; and other duties as assigned. Employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental U.S., but will report to Harmonic headquarters in San Jose, California. Domestic travel required 50% of the time. Salary range $135k - $165k.
 
Education: No degree required.
 
Requirements: 2 years of experience in the job offered or related positions. Other special requirements: 2 years of experience presenting, proposing, and selling Cloud Software-as-a-Service and video processing solutions to clients; 2 years of experience developing and maintaining relationships with senior level business and technical executives; 2 years of experience providing client feedback on video processing and delivery solutions to the product development team; and 2 years of experience developing and implementing sales and marketing plans specific to the video infrastructure industry.
