Position Overview

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Chief Product Owner, eCommerce to lead the strategic direction, development, and optimization of Hilti’s global digital commerce platform. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of Hilti’s online customer experience, ensuring seamless integration across digital touchpoints, and driving business growth through digital excellence.

As Chief Product Owner, you will lead a team of product owners and collaborate closely with UX designers, developers, and business stakeholders across multiple global locations. Your mission is to deliver a world-class online experience that meets the evolving needs of our customers and advances Hilti’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and own the global product vision and roadmap for Hilti’s eCommerce platforms, ensuring alignment with business strategy and customer needs.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of product owners and digital specialists across markets and functions.
  • Drive continuous improvement of eCommerce platforms with a focus on scalability, performance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with global business units, IT, marketing, and regional organizations to ensure alignment and execution.
  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on data-driven insights, customer feedback, and business impact.
  • Champion agile methodologies and product management best practices throughout the organization.
  • Monitor and analyze KPIs to measure product success and guide future strategy.
  • Stay ahead of digital commerce trends, technologies, and customer expectations to ensure Hilti remains at the forefront of innovation.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in digital product management, eCommerce, or related fields.
  • Proven leadership experience managing large-scale digital platforms and cross-functional global teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and technical understanding, with a customer-first mindset.
  • Deep knowledge of agile product development, UX/UI principles, and digital analytics.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills across global matrix organizations.
  • Experience in B2B digital commerce is highly desirable.
  • Passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and measurable business impact.

Working Conditions

  • Position based at Hilti’s Digital Hub in Paris.
  • Flexible office conditions in line with our working guidelines.
  • Up to 25% international travel required.
