In this strategic Head of Finance Business Partnering and Control role, you’ll lead a high-performing team, deliver critical financial insights, and ensure compliance with financial regulatory obligations, while supporting our commitment to safety, reliability, and customer affordability.

 

Key Responsibilities of this newly created role include:

  • Lead finance capability aligned with TasNetworks’ financial goals.
  • Ensure robust governance and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Partner with senior leaders to provide sustainable financial outcomes and financial insights.
  • Drive strategic financial improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and value.
  • Oversee financial operations, including accounting, revenue management, and payroll.
  • Effectively manage key external stakeholders, including Treasury and the Audit Office.
  • Lead process improvements and implement technology-driven efficiencies.

  • 10+ years in senior or executive finance leadership.

  • Proven ability to lead large-scale initiatives and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks in utilities.
  • Strong commercial acumen, change leadership, and ability to build trusted relationships.
