A day in the life:
As the Marketing Manager, you'll be at the helm of electrifying events across the territory for all our dynamic brands. Dive into the heart of excitement by crafting and executing unforgettable experiences that resonate with our audiences. You'll steer the strategic marketing direction, aligning brand objectives with cutting-edge strategies and philosophies. Your creativity will shine as you plan, execute, and evaluate marketing events and programs, seamlessly integrating platforms like Music, Action Sports, Gaming, and our iconic Monster Girls with Monster's electrifying EDM vibes, and Burn's fiery Urban Culture. Collaborate with sales to amplify brand awareness and make the Monster Energy Portfolio a household name!
The impact you will make:
- Execute all events at all levels, including grassroots, for sports and culture relevant to Monster Energy, Burn brands, and our key targeted consumers
- Entrench Monster Energy Portfolio in the local sport and culture scenes relevant to key targeted consumers. Develop and maintain relationships with opinion leaders in your market for the key image building scenes in sport, music and culture. With local network of opinion leaders, develop new ideas that bring the brand to life through local image building scenes in sport, music and culture
- Share and test ideas on the ground at events during interaction with opinion leaders for potential with marketing team.
- Activate and leverage global, national and regional events and properties that fit within established local market business plan, leverage local media merchandising opportunities
- Ensure that all branding/ logo use is acceptable at events and activations, approved under the direction of the Director of Marketing.
- Carry out large scale, event based product sampling operations
- Control of assigned budget for both brands
- Grow social media fans in Facebook and Twitter through different activities or promotions
- Search different promotional to increase sales. Manage promotional items inventory and logistics to maximize brand exposure.
- Work directly with Licensing and Apparel to determine what premium items are relevant to our international markets to maximize sales. Determine volumes for each country to ensure trimester deadlines are met.
Who you are:
- Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of ‐‐ Business, Marketing or similar field
- Additional Experience Desired: More than 7 years of experience in a Brand Management or Marketing position
- Additional Experience Desired: More than 5 years of experience in leading the execution of event, activations, and ambassadors
- Computer Skills Desired: Advance user of Microsoft Office
- Preferred Certifications: Fast‐moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry, solid understanding of product Profit and Loss (P&L)s, experience turning consumer insights into actionable new product or marketing executions.
- Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Fluent English
