We have an exciting opportunity to add a full-time experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to our team.  This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Assistant:

• Process vendor invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests
• Match invoices to packing slips and verify proper approvals
• Maintain vendor records and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Assist with weekly check runs, ACH payments, and reconciliations
• Support month-end closing tasks and reporting requirements
• Communicate with vendors, project managers, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations
• Provide backup for front desk reception 

Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Assistant Role:

• Prior experience in accounts payable, accounting, front desk reception, and office administration (construction industry experience a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Viewpoint experience a plus)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Wage Range: $22.00 to $25.00/hr., Based on Experience.
