We have an exciting opportunity to add a full-time experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to our team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Assistant:
- Process vendor invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests
- Match invoices to packing slips and verify proper approvals
- Maintain vendor records and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Assist with weekly check runs, ACH payments, and reconciliations
- Support month-end closing tasks and reporting requirements
- Communicate with vendors, project managers, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations
- Provide backup for front desk reception
Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Assistant Role:
- Prior experience in accounts payable, accounting, front desk reception, and office administration (construction industry experience a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Viewpoint experience a plus)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Wage Range: $22.00 to $25.00/hr., Based on Experience.
