Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our accounting department. In this role, you will accurately enter, update, and maintain financial and administrative data in company systems, including QuickBooks Online (QBO) and workflow automation tools.
This position is ideal for someone who is organized, accurate, and able to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter and maintain customer, vendor, and financial records in QBO
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and conference room bookings
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and packages
- Assist in creating invoices, entering transactions, and updating records
- Set up and monitor automated workflows using Flow or similar tools
- Review data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
- Generate reports for accounting and management teams
- Provide administrative support including filing, organizing records, and greeting visitors
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in administrative or data entry roles (preferred)
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks Online (QBO)
- Familiarity with Flow or other workflow automation tools is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask, set priorities, and meet deadlines
- Friendly, professional demeanor with strong communication skills
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Office-based role with extended periods of sitting and computer work
- Occasional standing, walking, bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
