About the Role:
As our Growth Marketing Lead—and the first member of our marketing team—you will own demand generation and account-based marketing from strategy to execution. You’re a hands-on builder who’s as comfortable crafting a campaign brief as you are analyzing funnel metrics, and you thrive in a fast-moving startup where priorities evolve and collaboration is the norm.
This role is critical in driving qualified prospects to our sales team through strong brand messaging, and highly targeted outreach. You’ll collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to generate high-quality leads that convert not just to closed deals, but into champions for the AssistIQ brand and product.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Sales leadership to align on pipeline goals and develop and execute the demand generation and account-based marketing programs that help us achieve them.
- Help define and continuously refine the ideal customer profile (ICP) based on market and customer feedback and research.
- Work directly with customers to tell a crisp ROI story, translating value props into targeted outreach that resonates with high-potential accounts.
- Codify what works into ABM playbooks and run ongoing training for Sales and Customer Success teams.
- Own marketing operations, ensuring a highly scalable marketing technology stack including maintaining strong CRM/MA data hygiene, and maintaining integrations and AI-driven automations across systems.
- Measure what matters—report on channel and campaign performance, run experiments, and scale what works.
- Lead all strategy, organization, and budgeting for conferences and industry events including planning and building the right team to optimize this function.
- Partner with brand/creative to ensure every asset is on-voice, on-message, and on-brand.
- Stay current on healthcare trends, customer behavior, and competitive positioning to refine strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate on GTM plans for new products and capabilities with Product, Sales, and Customer Success.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading demand generation for a fast growing B2B SaaS company, ideally in healthcare/health tech (5–8+ years in growth, demand gen, or related marketing roles).
- Track record of driving pipeline growth through multi-channel campaigns.
- Proficiency in set-up and monitoring of marketing automation platforms, CRMs, and analytics tools.
- Experience in developing and managing paid marketing campaigns and strategies.
- Growth mindset, agile problem-solving, and an ability to not just thrive, but be a culture ambassador in a fast-paced, evolving environment of an early-stage startup.
- Excellent writing, communication, storytelling, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
