Acuity is seeking a Senior Employee Success Specialist to partner with department leaders and managers to facilitate employee relations issues, including assistance with performance management, recordkeeping, employee engagement projects, investigations, and terminations. In partnership with Talent Acquisition colleagues, the Senior employee success specialist acts as a business partner within HR, while partnering with Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition and Benefits team as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

  •  Support the ongoing facilitation of employee success and retention initiatives at the direction of the Director – Employee Success and HR leadership.
  •  In partnership with Talent Acquisition colleagues, act as business partner within HR, helping own the HR relationship with assigned departments.
  • Maintain regular cadence of check-ins with assigned departments, proactively identifying performance opportunities and coordinating solutions with other HR subject matter experts as appropriate (e.g., Learning & Development, Benefits). Participate in assigned departments’ workshops and webinars, as invited.
  • Coach managers and employees through performance management processes and dispute resolution, documenting with consistency and accuracy, while escalating complex issues to HR leadership as appropriate.
  • Lead and/or assist in conducting internal employment-related investigations in conjunction with leadership.
  • Process employee exit documentation, coordinate exit interviews, and ensure proper completion and filing of resignation, retirement, and termination paperwork.
  • Assist with the distribution, tracking, and reporting of Employee Engagement and Employee Life Cycle surveys, and help facilitate follow-up actions as directed.
  • Maintain and update performance management tools and resources; provide employee and manager support, training and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Contribute to the administration of career development and employee retention frameworks.
  • Partner with Learning & Development and management to develop and deliver training programs for the employee population.
  • Stay informed of basic employment law changes and help communicate policy updates to employees.
  • Respond to general employee questions about policies and procedures, referring complex issues to HR management.
  • Lead and/or assist with vendor-related administrative tasks, such as processing invoices, coordinating meetings, and contributing to follow-up tasks.
  • Participate in department projects and initiatives as assigned, and seek opportunities to improve HR processes and employee support.
  • Lead and/or assist with HR-related audits as assigned.
  • Adhere to company policies and practices, and comply with all state and federal regulations in all aspects of human resources management.
  • Maintain professional approach with confidentiality. Assure protection and privacy of health information as attained through written, electronic or oral disclosures.
  • Contribute to periodic reviews of and suggested enhancements for continued procedural efficiencies.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

    EDUCATION:

    Bachelor's degree preferred. SHRM-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), Professional in Human Resources (PHR), or similar designation(s) helpful.

    EXPERIENCE:

    Five (5) or more years of full-time Human Resources experience. Demonstrated track record of employee relations task ownership and/or HR business partner experience.

    •  Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, along with HR information systems and employee engagement and performance platforms.
