Description

The Gainesville Glows Guest Experience Associate is a part time seasonal team member supporting ticketing sales, admission to the event, will call tickets, gift shop sales, merchandise cart sales and various other duties. This is a customer-facing role requiring flexibility, initiative, and a positive attitude. 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet arriving guests
  • Maintain orderly lines
  • Scan tickets
  • Assist with will-call tickets
  • Process all admission Point of Sale (POS) transactions and functions
  • Promote and actively sell annual garden memberships
  • Assist guests with Gift Shop purchases both inside and outside from the merchandise carts
  • Answer guest questions 

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Preferred 1 year of retail experience
  • Strong customer service skills; experience working in a customer-focused capacity
  • Flexibility of schedule to work shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Experience with POS systems preferred
  • Multi-tasking and organizational abilities
  • Basic math and computer skills required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to stand/walk 90% of time
  • Position requires visual acuity to read details presented on a computer screen 
  • Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and card swipe reader 
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
  • Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
