PURPOSE:

Provides guidance and expertise to the global organization related to SAP intercompany processes. This position is responsible for defining, documenting, assessing, and communicating the business processes of intercompany data, shipment, and product transfer. Scope can include Engineered Bearings or Industrial Motion businesses and will vary between day-to-day general questions and long-term strategic project support.

Key functional SAP process areas supported by this position include but are not limited to; Distribution/Warehouse/Logistics and Intercompany.

 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • End-to-end intercompany process understanding, effectiveness (e.g., KPIs) and continuous improvement.
  • Understand global SAP intercompany-related master data configurations and how they impact shipping and delivery.
  • Problem solving with plants and customer service to resolve supply-based constraints.
  • Assists in developing and updating manufacturing standard work and work instructions.
  • Measures process adherence by global end users.
  • Helps prioritize IT SAP break-fix, enhancements, and project work.
  • Develops and oversees implementation of process improvements.
  • Supports STARS and end-users in understanding how to execute sub-processes.
  • Work with the team to evaluate business needs and priorities, liaise with key business partners and address team needs related to data management and order management processes.

 

TECHNICAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Experience with SAP ECC and MDM.
  • Experience with intercompany processes.
  • Experience with Business Analysis and Process Mapping.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office.
  • Good organization and multi-tasking skills with ability to manage multiple activities.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to process and structure qualitative and quantitative data in a way that can be shared with others to help facilitate informed business decision making.
  • Skilled at active listening, written and verbal communication.
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment, collaborating with peers and providing leadership or guidance as needed.
  • Must be proactive, self-starting and intrinsically motivated.

 

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, IT or similar.
  • Minimum 2 years SAP intercompany transfers, troubleshooting required.
  • Minimum 4 years of related experience required.
