Job Summary
Ichor is looking for an Engineering Technician to draft assembly instructions and interface with operations team to drive manufacturing improvements. We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills with a passion for problem solving and process development.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Other duties may be assigned.
- Write technical work instructions for manufacturing
- Participate in release of the new products to manufacturing
- Build manufacturing fixtures and jigs
- Resolve problems and make routine recommendations
- Assist engineers in trouble shooting and modifications
- Operate manufacturing, test, development, or diagnostic equipment
- Work independently under general supervision
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to operate manufacturing, test, development, or diagnostic equipment and adhere to safety policies
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- CAD familiarity and view configuration management
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Capacity to function effectively in a cross-disciplinary environment
- Intermediate MS Office, Outlook, Word and Excel skills
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods and occasionally walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs.
Desired Education, Certifications and Experience
- 2-4+ years engineering or related work experience
- A.A. Degree or equivalent work experience, or any combination of education and experience
- Previous experience applying engineering technology theories
