About the Role:
Aquacare Physical Therapy & Fitness Forum is looking for a motivated and compassionate Exercise Specialist to join our dynamic clinical team! In this hands-on role, you’ll assist patients in completing individualized exercise programs under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. You’ll play a key role in helping patients regain mobility, function, and confidence through safe and effective therapeutic movement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide and assist patients with their prescribed exercise program, under the direction of a physical therapist.

  • Demonstrate exercises safely and clearly to patients.

  • Support daily clinic operations by maintaining a clean and organized treatment environment.

  • Welcome and assist patients with paperwork and outcome measures.

  • Schedule appointments to optimize both patient flow and provider efficiency.

  • Collect copayments and provide administrative support as needed.

  • Provide excellent customer service and redirect clinical questions to appropriate staff when necessary.
  • Pitch in where needed to support team success.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of exercise science and foundational fitness principles.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Familiarity with healthcare/medical office practices and terminology.

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office & Google Sheets).

  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for health and wellness.


Education & Experience:

  • Experience working in a physical therapy or healthcare setting preferred.

  • Educational background in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, or a related field preferred.

  • CPR certification a plus.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist with patient mobility as needed.

  • Extensive standing, walking, reaching, bending, and kneeling.

  • Occasional desk/computer work.
