Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. is a statewide service provider specializing in commercial skilled trades. We are seeking a proactive and organized Dispatch Shift Lead to manage daily operations within our dispatch team. In this role, you will guide a dynamic team, coordinate efficient communication, and maintain dispatch standards during shift transitions to ensure seamless day-to-day operations. This position follows a Sunday through Thursday schedule, 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Main Responsibilities

• Serve as the liaison between managers and technicians during shift changes, ensuring clear communication and seamless transitions
• Conduct shift briefings and debriefings to maintain alignment, improve communication, and drive continuous improvement
• Supervise and coordinate dispatch team activities during assigned shifts to ensure accurate, efficient communication
• Coach, train, and provide ongoing feedback to staff, new hires, and technicians to drive professional development
  Prioritize and assign service calls to technicians, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely service delivery
• Lead and support team members by addressing operational issues and resolving customer concerns within a timely and professional manner
• Monitor team performance and identify opportunities for process improvements, implementing changes as needed
• Participate in employee performance evaluations and assist with setting clear, measurable goals for the dispatch team
• Perform administrative tasks and contribute to special projects as assigned by leadership

Requirements

• A minimum of two years of supervisory experience in dispatch, logistics, or a related field.
• Demonstration of leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
• Proficiency with dispatch software and other relevant technology
