Senior Full Stack Java Engineer w/ ETL/ELT bei Raymond James

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Full Stack Developer with ETL/ELT experience to join our dynamic engineering team at Raymond James. As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing and integrating solutions that support our Compliance team's needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a small, agile team consisting of two developers, two Business Analysts (BAs), and a Software Quality Manager (SQM) to deliver enhancements and integrations with a third-party SaaS solution for Market and Credit Risk products.
• Utilize your expertise in Angular 8+, Java/Springboot, T-SQL, PL/SQL, and microservices to develop robust and scalable software solutions.
• Work closely with the Compliance team to understand their requirements and develop innovative solutions that meet their needs.
• Participate actively in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and make recommendations for incorporating new tools and frameworks into our development processes.
• Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement, streamline processes, and enhance overall software quality.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to teamwork, collaboration, and effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Angular 8+ and Java/Springboot.
• Extensive experience with T-SQL and PL/SQL.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and related technologies.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment, delivering software enhancements on a 2-week cadence.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly understand complex systems and business requirements.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with SSIS, Jenkins, Genesis, Azure DevOps, Redshift, Node.js, TypeScript, AG Grid, Sonar, and SOLR.
• Familiarity with SaaS integrations and compliance-related solutions.
• Familiarity in the financial services industry

Education/Previous Experience

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business or related degree and three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience or a combination of education, training and experience approved by HR.
