Data & Application Support Analyst bei Greenfield Savings Bank

Summary:

We are a growing community banking institution seeking a skilled and proactive Data and Application Support Analyst to provide critical support for our banking applications and data management systems. In this hands-on role, you will be directly responsible for application issues, ensuring data integrity, and a valuable resource for our internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Application and Data Support: Provide timely support for banking applications, troubleshooting issues, and resolving user inquiries.
• Applications Maintenance: Install, maintain, support, and upgrade the Bank’s applications and associated systems to ensure smooth and secure operation.
• Data Management: Perform data quality checks, cleanse data, and assist with data migration and integration projects. Respond to data related inquiries and generate reports based on user requirements.
• Vendor and Project Management: Act as a liaison with third-party software vendors, appropriately escalating and tracking issues to resolution. Participate in proects, including business continuity and disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Compliance and Audits: Assist with Bank audits and regulatory exams by providing application and data support, as needed.
• Documentation and Training: Document processes and procedures related to the Bank’s applications. Conduct user training sessions and create guidance materials to help staff effectively use applications.
• Occasional travel to branch locations and on-call support for urgent issues may be required.
• Other duties, as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field, or equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL) and scripting languages (e.g., Powershell)
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake
• Understanding of data analysis techniques and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
• Proven experience in an application or data support role
• Proficiency with effectively documenting issues and solutions
• Managing user expectations and providing timely updates

Desirable Skills:

• 3-5 years’ experience in the financial services or related industry
• Experience with Fiserv banking applications, Encompass, or nCino
• Experience with data warehousing or ETL tools (e.g., Business Analytics, Informatica)
