We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager – IT with a strong background in leading technical teams within data-driven environments. This role is ideal for a strategic leader who excels at managing analytical business systems and high-performance data and reporting teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of IT reporting infrastructure, analytical system performance, and business intelligence initiatives—ensuring that the organization’s technology resources are aligned with business goals and drive operational excellence.

In addition to traditional IT management responsibilities, this role places a strong emphasis on data leadership, including managing enterprise reporting platforms, Power BI, Power Apps, SQL databases, and Databricks environments. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of hands-on technical expertise and proven leadership in driving digital transformation, data governance, and reporting efficiency across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional data and reporting teams focused on delivering actionable insights to business stakeholders across multiple departments.
  • Oversee the architecture, development, and maintenance of enterprise dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI, ensuring high performance, usability, and scalability.
  • Drive the adoption and governance of Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) to enable business users to build self-service solutions with proper oversight.
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of data initiatives, from requirements gathering and data modeling to deployment and ongoing support.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and domain experts to design robust data models, ETL pipelines, and reporting structures.
  • Utilize Databricks to manage large-scale data processing, develop notebooks for analytics, and support machine learning initiatives.
  • Implement data governance frameworks, data quality assurance, and compliance with data privacy and security standards.
  • Lead the migration and modernization of legacy reporting tools and systems into centralized cloud-based data platforms.
  • Translate complex data findings into concise, executive-level presentations that drive decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Mentor and manage data analysts, developers, and BI specialists; foster a culture of continuous improvement and data literacy across the organization.
  • Oversee SQL-based reporting and data extraction across various data sources, ensuring performance optimization and accuracy.
  • Partner with IT infrastructure teams to ensure data platform reliability, scalability, and alignment with enterprise architecture.
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies in the data and analytics space to ensure the organization remains on the cutting edge of business intelligence.
  • Establish KPIs and success metrics for data operations, enabling proactive monitoring and optimization of performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree required.
  • 5 years required, 7 years preferred of data processing, system analysis design, and operations experience.
  • 3 years preferred of supervising work of subordinate employees experience.
  • Programming and systems analysis.
  • Solid analytical skills - able to solve problems & interpret instructions in any form
  • Project management expertise in planning and completing large and small projects
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership ability as a creative, competent team builder.
