What You’ll Do

As Controller, you’ll oversee all financial operations and be a trusted partner to leadership. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and audits in compliance with US GAAP
     
  • Driving cost accounting, standard cost analysis, and inventory accuracy
     
  • Managing cash flow, banking relationships, and working-capital strategies
     
  • Strengthening internal controls, overseeing audits, and mitigating risk
     
  • Optimizing ERP financial systems (M1) to support accuracy and efficiency
     
  • Leading and developing a high-performing accounting team
     
  • Partnering cross-functionally on capital projects, process improvements, and strategic initiatives
Requirements

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA strongly preferred; MBA a plus)
     
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience; 3+ years in a manufacturing Controller or senior accounting role
     
  • Hands-on knowledge of standard costing, BOM analysis, and inventory management
     
  • Track record of ERP optimization, audit leadership, and cash-flow management
     
  • Strong leadership skills with a passion for developing people
     
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting system expertise (M1 experience preferred)

  • Full-time, on-site leadership position in Hartford County, CT
  • Primarily office-based with occasional shop-floor collaboration
