About the Role:
As a Registered Nurse at Cornerstone, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality healthcare services to a diverse patient population. Your primary focus will be to provide comprehensive nursing care that promotes patient health, comfort, and recovery across various clinical settings. You will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring that each patient receives tailored treatment and education. This role demands a compassionate approach to patient advocacy, ensuring that patients' rights and needs are respected and addressed throughout their care journey. Ultimately, your expertise will contribute to improved patient outcomes and the overall excellence of healthcare services at our facility.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
- Completion of an accredited nursing program (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong knowledge of nursing care principles, patient safety, and infection control standards.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care including assessment, monitoring, and documentation of patient conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, disease prevention, and post-discharge care.
- Advocate for patients’ needs and preferences within the healthcare team to ensure holistic care.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
