Summary:
The Forklift Driver is responsible for safely operating a stand-up/reach forklift to move, locate, load, and unload materials within the warehouse. This role requires experience working with orders organized by color, size, style, and similar criteria. The position demands strict adherence to safety procedures, strong attention to detail, and efficient handling of products to maintain productivity and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a stand-up/reach forklift to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets.
- Accurately pick and organize orders based on color, size, style, and other specifications.
- Stack and store products in designated areas to maximize space and efficiency.
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Follow all safety guidelines and OSHA regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
- MUST be forklift certified
- Previous experience operating a stand-up/reach forklift required.
- Experience working with orders organized by color, size, style, etc.
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain one).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
